Austin Stubbs - April 6, 1993
Austin was born on April 6, 1993.  Currently a junior at Southwest Minnesota State playing baseball. I have gone to a lot of baseball games with that boy. He is taking business administration but talks about being a policeman.
Morgan Stubbs - December 12, 1996
Morgan was born on December 12, 1996.  Currently a junior at East High School.  She is our cheerleader for varsity football and boys basketball and wants to be a surgeon someday. She was chosen to spend 9 days working in the medical profession next summer most likely in Chicago.
Emma Stubbs - September 2, 2004
Then there's Emma, born on September 2, 2004.  She is just like her grandma.  She will go to church all dressed up in a pretty little dress and is ready to play ball when church is over. She is in the 4th grade and plays volleyball, softball, and basketball.

One of the things I remember about Grandma Fjordbak was her pantry.  It was like walking into a candy/cookie store.  She always had a variety to pick from and you could always take more than one.  The white candies she made had to have been pure sugar and that one you could only eat one!!  I couldn't wait for the day that Grandma provided the treats for vacation Bible school. Everyone received a bag of cookies and candy.

Whenever Grandma prayed you never opened your eyes because you just knew God was standing right there smiling at all of us.  When Grandma prayed, God listened!!

Grandma never had a Christmas tree in the house when she lived in Storm lake but she put lights on every lamp in the house and anything else she could hang them on.

After Grandma died I was helping Grandpa in the basement and he had me put all the spools of thread in a box.  Grandma had spools with maybe a piece of thread that was 2 inches long.  She was a saver.

Dennis and I always seemed to get into trouble with Grandpa. I don't know where Dennis found the smoke bombs but we lit some and Grandpa's pigs didn't seem to like it and neither did Grandpa!!
